"A New Normal: Finding New Rhythms of Life"
We will be reminded that God is with us in the disorienting, culture-shifting situations we find ourselves in, whether because of a global pandemic like COVID-19, a new life stage by choice, or a sudden change of circumstances.
We are excited about Compassion Sunday, coming up Sept. 27, in both worship services. There will be special music and guest speaker, Keith Malugin, will be will us, too. We will also have some Compassion International Children packets for adoption. Pray now for God's leading and plan to be with us!
Come join us for our Annual Christmas at the Creek vendor event. This year for the first time, it will be an outside, street vendor fair. We hope to have a large variety of vendors as well as some food trucks and concessions! It will be a great time to get some early Christmas shopping done. Hope you'll mark your calendar!
This year the Annual Children's Home Party was schedule to be held on Nov. 21 here at the church. Due to COVID-19, the Children's Home can't come to the church for the party and we can not go there.
Our plan instead is to still have the children fill out their wish lists ($75 to be spent) and on the afternoon of Nov. 21, someone from the Children's Home will come by the church to pick up all the gift totes. We hope to send back the food and decorations for each cottage to have their own party, too!
We have 70 kids to adopt! This is a great service project for kids and adults alike. Please help if you can! Email Melody James or call her at 919-221-1339 for more info or to adopt-a-child.
