What to expect...

We know that choosing a church family is a very important and sometimes tough decision. We also understand that visiting a new church can often times be intimidating! In light of this, we want to help you with this decision as much as possible.

You may be searching for a place to develop life-long friendships and relationships; or for a relevant message addressing concerns in your life; or maybe you are looking for a church that has ministries for everyone in your family. Whatever you are looking for, we believe we can be an encouragement to you and your entire family no matter where you are in life's journey. If you are looking for a church family, join us for one of our worship services. We look forward to meeting you soon!

As you arrive....

you will be greeted by our Connect Team. Look for the welcome sign! If you are early, you can visit our Connect Center Cafe in the Fellowship Hall for refreshments and coffee! Our hosts will answer any questions you may have and they will be glad to show you tp our adult classrooms, our student and children's ministry areas and the Sanctuary.

If you have a baby....

you are welcome to bring your infant into the Sanctuary. Please know there is a room on the left, just outside the back exit of the Sanctuary, should your baby become restless or you need a place for privacy. We also encourage you to take advantage of our supervised nursery with skilled and loving caregivers. Just ask your Connect Host or an usher for more information.

Our worship services...

at Stoney Creek Church provide you with two opportunities for corporate worship. Our 8:30 a.m. service is "traditional" in nature. Familiar hymns of the faith are led by a worship leader and accompanied by a grand piano and organ. Our 11:00 a.m. service is "contemporary" in nature. Praise and worship style songs are led by a praise team and accompanied by a grand piano, electronic keyboard, drums and electric and acoustic guitars. Although the music style varies, the sermon in each service is the same! We strive to share a message that is relevant, Biblical, uplifting and inspiring. In all of our worship services, our main focus is upward--magnifying and exalting our great and wondrous God and His Son, Jesus Christ. As we focus upward on worshipping God, we know God is aware of our needs and situation in life and He blesses us as we bless Him.

Beyond You r First Visit...

we would really like to get to know you and answer any questions you may have! Let us treat you to lunch where we can talk or be our guest at one of our Visitor Fellowship Dinners which are held on a regular basis. Ask one of our pastors about these opportunities or just call the church office Monday thru Friday and let us know when and where you can meet with any of our Pastoral Staff for lunch to learn more about us and our church.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I get to Stoney Creek Church?

Please visit our interactive map.

How far in advance should I arrive?

Some people arrive "JIT-style" (i.e. just in time). However, if you can arrive 15 -20 minutes before the service we can answer any questions, help you check in your children and you can enjoy refreshments, too. Of course, as a first-time guest, you may feel more comfortable having your entire family with you in the Sanctuary for the worship service. Feel free to do whichever works best for your family. Each of our services are about an hour in duration.

What should I wear?

At Stoney Creek, we encourage you to come as you are. In case you are wondering, most people attend wearing business-casual attire. Our 9:45 a.m. contemporary service tends to be the most casual. Don't be surprised if you see some suits and ties, as well as some people wearing jeans. What's most important to us is that you are here--not what you are wearing! Remember--God sees our heart and that's what He cares about.

What about my kids?

Childcare is provided for Birth thru 2 years of age on Sunday morning and Sunday evening. For children three and older, a Bible class time is provided. We offer a safe environment with loving, caring adults who want to share the love of Jesus with your children!

When are the Service Times?

Gathering together for a time of worshipping God is very important at Stoney Creek. If you are new to the area or looking for a church home, we encourage you to be our guest. Sunday morning services are at 9:15 a.m. & 10:30 a.m. Sunday School meets during both hours as well.
