Caleb's Dollar

Caleb’s Dollar Ministry is an outreach of OFWB International Foreign Missions. It is an on-going ministry that  provides for over 1,400 children in our schools in Liberia, and others in Guinea.

Contributions and offerings are always welcome, however, each 5th Sunday at Stoney Creek has been set aside to  collect a special offering  specifically for this ministry. Every dollar given will provide TEN meals for children who will otherwise be hungry. What a blessing to give to this ministry and help make a difference!

Operation Christmas Child

Operation Christmas Child is a project of Samaritan’s Purse, an international relief organization. Their mission is to provide local partners around the world with shoeboxes filled with small toys, hygiene items, and school supplies as a means of reaching out to children in their own communities with the Good News of Jesus Christ. They ship these simple gifts outside the United States to children affected by war, poverty, natural disaster, famine, and disease; and to children living on Native American reservations in the U.S.

Each year, our church works hard to put together over a 1000 quality filled boxes that will go around the world to spread joy and the good news of Christ. Boxes are often referred to as GO Boxes because in addition to the practical and fun items in each box, there is also a Gospel Opportunity in each box in a language the child can read!

There are MANY ways to get involved, but here are a few:

  • Make your own box! Pick up a box and return during collection week Nov. 14 -21, 2022!
  • Drop off items to the table and collection bins in the Fellowship Hallway! (beanie babies, wash cloths, bar soap, spoons and forks, etc.)
  • You can purchase items off our Amazon Wish List
  • Join the OCC Team at Stoney Creek and help sort, count items, create kits and more. Contact Mary Beth!
  • Give financial donations to help purchase items, pay for shipping the boxes, etc.

Servant Hands International

For many years, mission work has been a big part of the Zacharzuk's lives, from student trips to Ghana, Africa to disaster relief in remote Alaskan villages. While participating in these trips has been amazing and fruitful, they believed they could do more for His cause. That is when the vision was born.  Their extensive experience in construction coupled with the passion to spread the gospel birthed Servant Hands.  There are ministries all around the world that have devoted themselves and often their families to spreading the gospel. Servant Hands wants to support them and their mission by providing building-related services. There is an abundance of need for adequate facilities such as churches, feeding centers, trafficking rescue centers and more. Their goal is to help meet those needs.

Every day there are men, women, and children who wake up in poverty. Not just material poverty, but spiritual poverty as well.  SH believes we all can make a difference if we make ourselves available for His service by using our gifts in our effort to

provide hope through relationships and service.

Our mission is to strengthen Christ-centered ministries, both domestically and abroad, by providing construction, maintenance, and building services for the sole purpose of building hope.

Our church supports this ministry financially and also by participating in short term missions trips to work on projects and sharing Christ.
