Raised Up and Lifted Up!—

Luke 24:1-9; Acts 1:9-11

The same Jesus that suffered, was crucified, died, and was buried, is the same Jesus that rose to new life on the third day. Jesus defeated sin and death through his resurrection and he empowered his disciples to share this truth of new life with the world. Then the same Jesus left his disciples to return to Heaven and his Father.
